Abstract
The paper presents a multi-parameter numerical optimization of a radial turbo machine impeller with the use of stigmergic optimization algorithm. Numerical calculations were preformed with the use of program package Ansys Multiphysics. A geometry was described with 25 different parameters and the goal of the optimization was to achieve greater aerodynamic power. The results were experimentally confirmed with prototypes.
