abstract:
The paper presents the memetic algorithm used for production planning, and the evaluation of the influence of orders with fixed deadlines on the performance of the algorithm. The production planning problem consists of many constraints that need to be considered, to make the used algorithm efficient. Due to complexity of a problem with many constraints, a memetic algorithm with specialized local searches is used, to improve solutions acquired by genetic algorithm.
