"Influence of Time Constraints on Memetic Algorithm's Performance in Production Planning"
In this paper we analyzed the influence of time constraints on the performance of the memetic algorithm which is used in production planning. Beside time constraints, many other constraints need to be considered in the production planning problem to make the used algorithm efficient. For this reason we used a memetic algorithm, which possesses ability of genetic algorithm to find solution in large searching space and the power of local search to move quickly towards the optimal solution.
